Life game, Japanese board game, what it teaches
One of my favorite board
games is the game of life. Sometimes I play it with my family. From the start
to the finish line, the players go on a life map. Each time you spin the
roulette wheel in turn, you advance by the number it indicates. Various events
occur along the way on the life map. They can be good or bad. Along the way,
players will get married, have children, and so on, and their families will
grow. Of course, depending on how you proceed, you may reach the goal while remaining single. Every player reaches a goal. And they enjoy their own game of life. This
board game is very good at objectively experiencing life for what it is.
Enjoy life, as a player
Like the game of life above, lately I've
been trying to recognize it as a trap in the game of life when it happens to
disturb my peace of mind. Think of life as a game and enjoy the game as a
player. The game has a tendency for players to fall into the same traps until
they pass it. The traps can be relationships, prejudices, and many others. When
the player no longer falls into the traps, the player moves up to a higher
stage.
The biggest trap in real life
The biggest trap in real life is not
being able to remember that you are a player in the game. To put it another
way, to enjoy the game of life, you need to control the power of mind. Don't
end your life as a slave to someone else or just blindly believe in nonsense.
It will ruin the life you should enjoy.
Awaken the power of one's Mind
We don't want to be brainwashed and give
up the power of our Mind without realizing it. Brainwashing in various forms,
such as mass media, education, religion, and tradition, usually go unnoticed.
And before we know it, we give up the power of our irreplaceable Mind. When we
do so, we end up not enjoying our lives. To prevent this from happening, you
should consciously try to awaken the power of your Mind.
Easy way to increase the power of the mind
There are many ways to enhance the power of the mind. For now, I'd like to
introduce you to a simple routine that I do every day.
- Watching the sunrise (while being impressed by its beauty)
- Enjoy a cup of black coffee in the morning (while being impressed by its aroma and taste)
- Looking at Venus (while admiring its beauty)
- Morning and evening meditation (focusing on the breath)
- Enjoy the good smell of essential oils.
These have the effect of increasing
one's sense of well-being.
Conclusion
Life is like a game; use the power of
mind and enjoy the game as a player. Do not become a slave or a blind follower.
