Urban Oasis in Tokyo, Imperial Palace East Gardens, "Good access," "Rich nature," "Free"

Imperial Palace East Gardens Re-opened

The Imperial Palace East Garden opened again from June 2 (Tuesday), 2020, which was temporarily closed to prevent the spread of new coronavirus infection. So I visited there last week.  Although located in the center of the big city, the Imperial Palace East Garden has a vast greenery. It has an area of approximately 210,000 ㎡. It is a place of relaxation in Tokyo, an overcrowded city.  And thankfully, it's free to enter.

Accessible Power Spot in Imperial Palace

The entire Imperial Palace is a power spot, but the one with the most power is the site of the Edo Castle Honmaru tower in the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace. As you know, the Imperial Palace is the former Edo Castle. The stone wall of the castle tower remains, and there are benches above it. You should look at the direction of your birth year (12 zodiac signs). Because  it connects with the god of direction.

You can easily take a walk through the history of the powerful old Edo Castle and the scenery surrounded by greenery. Just taking a walk in the Imperial Palace makes you feel better. As the power is wrapped in light, it is bright and warm as a whole. And the brain is refreshed. There are many historic buildings in the garden, and you can enjoy the beauty of Japanese trees and flowers.

Entrance and Exit Gates

There are three gates, Ote-mon Gate, Hirakawa-mon Gate and Kitahanebashi-mon Gate. The Ote-mon Gate has easy access to the Palace Hotel, Wadakura Fountain Park and Tokyo Station. I recommend you a lunch buffet at the Wadakura Fountain Park restaurant. There is also a tasteful Tokyo Station Hotel in Tokyo Station. Accommodation and meals are recommended there.
